We begin with an Insight Month.
Let’s start with effective listening, so we can
discover who God’s making you to be,
meet you where you are right now, and
provide both affirmation and Force Multiplier Recommendations that can make the most difference right away.
The Insight Month lasts 4-6 weeks BUT IS DESIGNED TO EAVESDROP ON YOU, NOT DISRUPT OR BURDEN YOU. IT includes:
Our Organizational Health Checkup (to gauge each major aspect of the organization inside your church)
Gallup’s Q12 Employee Engagement Survey, to learn how your team is doing
1-on-1 conversations, to give each staff team member, each elder, and each pastor’s spouse 45 minutes of undivided attention
Sitting in on a staff meeting and session meeting
Attending one of your Sunday worship services (or at least listening to a recording)
Review of your website and regular communications (such as bulletin / order of worship, and your regular email to the congregation)
An optional upgrade that some churches add is:
Vocationality for Pastors — which is ideal for situations where we know in advance that the work to be done will benefit from refocusing one or more pastors in their gifting
The Insight Month concludes with a 3-hour IN-PERSON presentation, which includes:
Organizational Health Checkup results
Employee Engagement Survey results
Our sense of the “magic” at your church (our name for how you’re made to bear God’s image organizationally)
What’s going well (what’s strong / healthy)
Your most significant challenges … but more importantly …
The likely roots of those challenges, the level where they can and ought to be addressed
+ Force Multiplier recommendations for addressing those roots and pursuing with more strength and health what God has called you to be together
Typically we invite every 1-on-1 participant to the first part of this presentation, and ask only the session to stay for the rest.
“I recommend ALIGN to my pastor friends any chance I get.”
“What ALIGN provides is desperately needed in a world where churches are often surprised by dysfunction.”
“We may never grow large enough to hire an Executive, so it’s a gift to have access to one for a season.”
The Insight Month costs on a range from $5,000 to $25,000, depending on the size of the church, the number of participants, and the complexity and number of the known challenges.
